Fields of application
Primer for walls and floors.
For strengthening lightweight concrete, gypsum plaster, plasterboard and fiberboard, calcium sulphate screeds, highly absorbent plasters, cement screeds and highly compacted, smoothed concrete floors.
Substrate preparation
- PCI CT 17 can be applied to all firm, load-bearing, clean, dry substrates which are free from substances impairing adhesion.
- Test the strength and solidity of the surface. Calcium sulphate screeds (dry) must be mechanically roughened. Clean the surface and remove any dust.
- Windows, doors and other components as well as neighboring surfaces should be protected by covering up or cleaned with water immediately after the application of the primer.
Application
Apply PCI CT 17 directly using a brush.
On absorbent substrates, tile adhesives and floor leveling compounds may already be applied after five minutes, depending on the drying conditions. In the case of non-absorbent substrates, the drying time is about four hours. Following hardening, the surface must be scratch-proof; otherwise, apply a further coat of primer. Wash tools with water immediately after use.
